About Julia

My story

Julia — Kundalini yoga teacher

I started practicing yoga as a teenager and spent years searching for "my" style — exploring Hatha, Ashtanga, and Iyengar. But I was always looking for something deeper than just physical asanas.

Everything changed in 2015 when I tried Kundalini for the first time. I believe it was a heart center kriya, and I still remember that overwhelming feeling of awe: "So this is how you can feel after yoga!"

I've been teaching since 2017, trained by Guru Rattana — a direct student of Yogi Bhajan — and Parvinder Singh, a traditional Indian master of Naad Yoga, the yoga of sound. I also practice Western astrology, having completed a full course at Pavel Andreev's school. It gives me practical tools for self-realization and helps me guide students more deeply.

How I teach

My approach is gentle — no pushing, no forcing. Consistent, steady work that creates real change. I pay a lot of attention to a good warm-up so the body is ready for the main kriya. Then we work with energy through specific sequences, breathwork, and meditation — each class has a purpose.

A little personal

I've been living in Tbilisi since 2018, my husband and I moved here as we fell in love with the city. Since then, we've welcomed our dog Shiro and our daughter Layla into our lives. I'm passionate about hiking, art and music and my dream is to live sustainably in our own farmhouse.
